About the Workshop

Join us this fall at Central Michigan University for a focused workshop series on ArcGIS Online (AGO) and ArcGIS Enterprise Portal. Whether you're building apps, managing data, administering your site, or exploring pricing and budget considerations, this hands-on event will connect you with practical tools, expert insights, and peer exchange.

9/25/25: Thursday Afternoon

  • 1:15 – 1:30 PM — Intro to Workshop
  • 1:30 – 2:00 PM — Symbology in AGO (John Nelson)
  • 2:00 – 3:30 PM — Site Management and Administration
    • Site Configuration (30 minutes)
    • Authentication (15 minutes)
    • User Types, Tags, and Managing Content (45 minutes)
  • 3:30 – 3:50 PM — Backups (enterprise-wide, exporting user lists, etc.) (20 minutes)
  • 3:50 – 4:05 PM — Distributed and Partnered Collaborations (15 minutes)
  • 4:05 – 4:20 PM — Assessment Dashboard with BS&A (introductory overview)
  • 4:20 – 4:30 PM — Closing Q & A

Thursday Evening
