Scholarship Application Process
The Jim Living Scholarship is sponsored by Woolpert,
Inc. in recognition of outstanding student
scholarship in Geographic Information / Geospatial
Sciences and participation in the IMAGIN
organization. The $500.00 scholarship will be
awarded based on academic achievements in the field
of Geographic Information / Geospatial Sciences with
preferences toward IMAGIN participants, women, and
minorities. All students in a degree program in
Michigan are eligible for the award (undergraduate
or graduate students at community colleges or
universities).
Applications are due April 16, 2010 and
should be submitted to Sarah AcMoody by e-mail

The recipient will be contacted the
week of April 19 and will receive the opportunity to
attend the 2010 IMAGIN Conference (May 3-4, 2009) in
Lansing, MI.
Application Requirements:
Cover Letter
Please submit a cover letter explaining your career goals.
Resume/Curriculum Vita
Type should be ten-point or larger; use two pages or less.
Please include:
• contact information;
• degree being sought and expected graduation date;
• grade-point average (overall and in-major);
• internships, jobs, courses, and/or extra-curricular
activities
related to Geographic
Information / Geospatial Sciences;
• IMAGIN participation, if applicable (participation in
student
paper competition, attendance at
meetings, or work with
committees) and minority status, if
applicable.
References
Please include names and contact information for up to three
references who can attest to your work in Geographic
Information / Geospatial Sciences.
